A New Layer of Public Transport
Île-de-France Mobilités faced a clear challenge: large parts of the region remained poorly connected, while expanding public transport infrastructure was slow and expensive.
Karos solved this by integrating daily carpooling into the public transport system and activating unused seats in private cars.
The result is a scalable carpooling network that complements existing rail and bus lines, connects underserved areas, and provides reliable mobility for thousands of daily commuters.
